"Jacaranda season."
Acrylic. These trees bloom in late October, and by mid-November have lost their blossoms. But the leaves that follow provide ideal shade over the summer months, which is December to February here in Australia.

I love these trees - they bloom here during April/May with their glorious colour & blanket the lawns & roads with their beautiful purple blossoms.
