Had the privilege of going to the Joaquín Sorolla Museum in Madrid this week & seeing his gorgeous work displayed all through the home he once lived in. Photography without flash was allowed - thought others might enjoy seeing the beautiful details of his confident & bold brushwork in this painting - lovely abstract paintings in their own right! I could not find the title of this one (they were not identified in the museum).

Yes, it's well worth a visit if you can get there!  Would be wonderful to be able to paint like that!

I would LOVE to see Sorolla's paintings one day!  He is one of my favorite old masters!  Lucky you indeed!
