Kakis (I think they're called persimmons in English?)

There's lots of theses in Provence - a tree in many gardens - but few contemporary people seem to like them - guess they'll become rare..

I like the depth in this one. Put Kakis in cookies or muffins, they add moisture and tang

Ok, thanks - I prefer kakis (French) as a name - but I'm not sure of the spelling... don't like them to eat myself either, oh well, they light up the winter like lanterns...
