Thank you, Gail. This painting was done several years ago. Horses are my #1 subject to paint. Lately I have been so busy with getting paintings ready for my classes I teach at Michaels Arts & Crafts that I haven't had time to paint the subjects I like.

This is really nice. When I first looked, I thought it was pastel. I like the way you have suggested the background, leaving the Buckskin as the main focal point. Nice to see the dappling on the rump too, as is often the case.

Well done. Just keep an eye on the shape of the shoulder in relation to the curve of the neck. :-))
