Thanks Terry.
Ro, the turps isnt that "synthetic friendly" as the bristle and the sable brushes are, the softer one. The chemical makes the synthetic deforms from its original shape. The natural haired brushes like bristle and sables retain their shapes for years!. I use the sables exclusively for my WC work.

Ruins brush. This may be a dumb question. I typically like a soft brush, similar to your synthetic brush maybe. I was taught to wash with turp first, and then I wash 2 times with soap and water to be sure that the oil is not being left deep down in the inside of the brush. Do you wash with soap and water also? Thanks Ro. I am not that good in oils actually. I hate the mess and it ruins my synthetic brush..as a muslim, bristle hair can't be used..
