Again the photo has darkened the painting. There is indeed lots of dark blue in the shawl area. The background is a golden color not orange though. Thank you.

Really interesting. Although the title mentioned black, I would have voted for some hint of blue in the black as the complement to the orange background. Very striking painting. Ro
