looking at the painting made me realised how wrongly I have interpretad my sidemy work. Will try to do better in my next trial......

Did you change the rocks, or am I seeing it differently now?  Wow, brownish where the sun is shinning and darker/gray purpley in shadow.

Hi Richard, very lovely work, as usual.. But I noticed something right away, that brown rock or two in the sunlight, should it be more "sunlit?"  Maybe you wanted it like that because if it were lighter or another color, it might draw too much attention?  I always wonder what is in the mind of the artist.     Another note, I won't be doing this challenge, just too busy, going on vacation this month.  I should be back at "challenge 15" though.  BTW, I have done several challenges, what were we supposed to be getting?  I will send you my address.
