Acrylics 9.4 x 9.4 in. t This was tough work. Thought of taking my acrylics again, but realized that with oils it would have been easier...! Acrylics dry up sooo fast! Blending and softening IS complex with acrylics!
I'd appreciate any constructive comments!

thanks Xiao!
Silvana, this is really great. You are doing better and better each time. Happy painting.
Gina, I am quite an amateur, and I love Richard's workshops and this site. It is really interesting to read the comments, and I really appreciate you stopping by and commenting! The comments on how to 'get into a painting' and 'going through it', is sth completely new to me which I have learnt on this site. I still don't really know how to manage that, but little by little I am beginning to understand! Thanks for your 'reading' my painting!
Thank you Walda!
Hi Silvana, I love the intensity of your colours, Also the reflections on the wet sand really draws me into the painting. You really keep the viewers eye on the main subject which is the crashing wave. I was concerned that the rock formation would force the viewer out of the frame but you have managed to avoid that problem. Great job.
Thank you Jim! :)
The colors in this are just amazing! (I just keep staring at it...) There is such a nice "darkness" and such intense light -- with just a wonderful balance of cool blue tones and some nice orange and yellows. And, I really love those little light streaks in the waves in the foreground.
Thank you ladies for such beautiful and encouraging comments!!! :)
