I tried something similar to Supper Time, but want to experiment with more blues in the painting. Supper Time is a warm painting and I want this one to be a cool painting to see the difference. I think the green grass does not work well. Comments welcome.

Here a are a few things I love about this painting:

1. The cow's tail and shape.

2. The postures of the goats--correct but loose drawing.

3. I can hear and smell them and feel the sunshine, I swear!

4. The background elements are strong, but help rather than hinder the composition.

Another great painting, Aurelia!

Thank you. I changed it to a more blue green and darken the value a little bit and it looks much better now.

Aurelia, I agree with Olivia.....a bluer green grass will work better, as the yellow green doesn't complement any of the other colors, ( check out your color wheel)...... otherwise good job !

It's very nice. They all glow not sure why the chartreuse is a stretch for my eyes. What would pale teal grass be like?

I think its a lovely painting.great broken colour. The white shadow areas with that cool lilac and warm pinky beige are great.

I dont know about the green .Maybe a slightly bluer green.

You could try glazing over with a bit of  blue and wiping it off if you dont like it

Lovely painting Aurelia! I really like you use broken color technique and bold brush work.
