Would be very happy to have feedback here. This is out doors and a 2 hour effort.

Thanks Coery. I hace cooled out the central tree trunks in the original from the posting. irs great fun to do plein air. Do you [aint plein air?
Hi Elfrida, a peaceful scene, and the only crit I have is that I would have somehow created warmer colours in the foreground ( Maybe some sunlight breaking through onto the foliage on the left as well), and cooling down the trees in the middle, then your perspective as far as colour is concerned would give you greater depth. . Love the path and shadowing on it.
Good point, I will think about that. This was painted plein air in a couple of hours, not in the studio. I often find the colors are more extreme out of doors and require subtle changes in the studio.
Love this painting, the shadows along the path are great and capture the light cast by the trees, the trees at the end of the road pop, good variety of greens. I'm not sure if it is the photo but the tree trunks at the end of the path appear too warm pulling them forward, maybe graying them would push the trees back and let the foliage pop even more. Also you have some great reference photos.
