I really like this one too !  It still has the drama like your other one does with some added dimension.  The foreground chicken with its soft and hard edges commands it dominance, accented with the strong light on it's feathers.  The light on the barn and the shadow on the ground and inside the barn pulled all this together nicely.  Great Painting !

Casey,This is very different from your other work in terms of color. The strong value and beautiful color contrast make such a dramatic impact to the viewer. Excellent light design, details and acurate forms make it a fine work. I enjoy it very much.

Wow!! Casey. This is awesome, you really did a great job and I love that cock, and the barn is great. I love the light/shadow, warm/cold and soft and hard edges. Like Li already says, yhe cock is outstanding, you really captured the rich and warm colours of his feathers in the sunlight. Great painting, Casey, Well done!!!
