Hummmm, I have not done any of this for a little while. Guess that I should do one again! Need to cover my son's second hand furniture first! :(

Tammy, thanks. This is Serti silk painting technique. I use a resist to design with the main lines of the piece and then use fabric dye to paint. Lots of fun. Very special to me because a Russian artsist taught this to me in the Russian summer camp where we used to work with kids.
