Ok yeah, now that you mention it, I have seen mauve in that area. This was one of the first paintings I had ever done as an adult and I definately know what you mean now. Yup, I will be working on correcting the branches in my next one. Thanks for the comment.

Great spot-lighting effect in the middle. Branches need some work. Also, have a look next time you're at the beach at the transition zone between the water and the dry sand. I usually see a bit of mauve in that area for some reason.
