Livin' the Life

acrylic on board, 60 x 80 cm. I fancy a trip round the bay and then an evening meal in one of those little restaurants on the port.. ..as the lights come on and spill across the water.
Another pea green sea! - acrylic phlato green is pretty hi-powered!

I've worked on it a bit more - but maybe I should just take the clump of boats out - come to think of it - I'd prefer the foreground boats to be 'higher' up (less gap betxeen them and shore... oh well - it was a fun one - I felt like I was there!

But the clump of boats in the middle look like a clump of boats. Sorry for the critique... feel free to critique mine as well!

Comment by Jon Main on February 12, 2015 at 19:57: Thanks Ian and Ruby! Like Richard said - they're big - and it strikes me that big paintings lose a lot when shown as photos on the net - it's just that I find it hard to use smaller canvas sizes :(
