I really like your tonal range across this work. The only thing that sort of leads my eye a little too much is the near horizontal plane of the base of the rose on top of the table. Nice colour handling Laurena.

Good Job Laurena!!! And yes Phyllis. I agree with Laurena, give it another try!!!! The worst that can happen is that you don't like the result.... but that is the way in which we learn. I always find interesting that what I don't like, some other people do..... and I would have never found out if I had not posted it!!!!

Thanks Phyllis!  I did some scraping and wiping off also!    You do beautiful work and think you could do this rose,
