Hi John - love this painting, as I used to go to Dornoch for my holidays when I was in my teens (many many moons ago).  My friend's parents had a croft called Badinish and their name was Leslie - one of the predominant names in that part of the world of course!  I have lived in Vancouver Canada since 1968 but visit Scotland as often as I can - just got back last week.   I paint quite a few castles, like Eilean Donan and Kilchurn, but I love your colours and your loose approach.  Good work!   Rita McArthur
