Such a lovely place with colors so vibrant in the day and, at times, misty from passing storms in the mornings. The weather changed quickly and frequently so it was a fun challenge to take on. There are two other paintings I worked on while there also. They are all only small sketches - easier to carry back on the plane. I love trying to catch the views in paint. Funny though - I always feel there's much more that could have been portrayed. I suppose that's why I enjoy the challenge so much.
