Flavio, I am glad you enjoyed my painting. It is one of my fav and more or less the way I would like to paint - am striving for. If you click on the pic it will get big so you can read the names of the colors I used. I always make a sheet similar to this on thick inexpensive WC tablet paper so I can look back and remember what I did. Normally I also mix colors together on the paper so I can see what to expect when I start mixing. Because I normally mix to see before hand, I have had some beautiful accidents that I would have never guessed would happen. Ro

Roena, I see in this picture something like a misty mourning...you captured the light reflected on the rocks with terciary colours...amazing! Did you use Alizarin Carmine in the background?

I like the soft colors, the light and above all the atmosphere and the feeling of being aspired into the background...

Thanks Marek, This is heading in the direction I want to go with my paintings. More impression, more light effects, more correct use of color. Ro

you have a special light effect in this one, this is extaordinary, it is 'heavy' but here it works perfectly.

Thank you very much Richard. What it lacks is that other value, chroma, etc that I hope to learn in your color course. I wanted it to have some "sunshine punch" like you do so well. Ro
