I hear you about the sunbeams. They are magical. I saw another piece of work you did, and they were in there as well. I guess I was thinking you spent some much time with the painting....especially the colors, which are great, and it seemed like lines of yellow were a last minute additions that did not match the rest of your hard work. I say keep pushing the sunbeams until they really do the magic they are supposed to do... :)

Thankyou Morgan!  I have a tendency to not know when to stop.  I will look at a finished painting, ponder it, say that I am done, then----I get this thought, what if.....?  I love sun beams.  To me, they turn a beautiful scene, into something more dramatic, and almost ethereal.  This all fits in to my personality as well.  I have a tendency to over-do things.  Thank you for your comment.

This is great Stephanie...I really dig it. I am curious, why you put the sunbeams lines in at the end? I think you achieved a great sunset/rise without them.
