Maria and Robin of NEW ZEALAND

Maria and Robin and friends finally met up for a great day out together catching up with art, paintings and gardening interests. Lots of laughing and sharing ideas and exchanging show tell with some of our paintings. We look forward to do some plain aire painting later on in the year. You don't see it but behind us is a mountain covered with snow. Burrrr!!! we keep our coats and scarfs on. We would like to share this day with you all. :-)

I meant to say in my last posting what a special day it was meeting up with Maria - so many things just happened to click into place to make it possible - the CA is certainly a great catalyst for some lovely friendships!!

Since that day my life has been spiralling out of control .My husband's mother of 102 died a few days before an 80th birthday celebration that the family had organised for me. We went ahead and as it was Paris themed they created a Louvre where they displayed a collection of my paintings so a big thank you to all my artist friends who have given me the encouragement and support over the last year to achieve my hope of having an exhibition! Hazel - we talked about hoping you would join us so will definitely be in touch - have not forgotten you!
