Jim, I love your beautiful colour combination. and shapes and details are very good too. I also think that your paint the water in shadow  very acurate and subtle. One idea,  To me, if you put your light part of water and buildings and sky a bit lighter value, it will give the painting stronger value contrast. Just an opinion for your concern.
