if the shoreline goes inland, would not it be higher on the right side? If the shoreline comes towards us, doesn't it give the impression of being lower? If it was the ocean and a horizon line it would be off. Just thinking about it. I like the composition with the rocks coming forward in the foreground. I wasn't thinking right when I did mine and put it smack dab in the middle, but it was just a study. Nice painting but a few too many birds IMHO. :D
