Thank you Jon for your encouragement.
Yep, it's an effort to get out - but soooo worth it - always an experience! Go for it!
Oh sorry Jon, of course I meant to say "brushwork" my apologies. I enjoy looking at your plein air paintings.
I need to get myself out again to paint as the weather is getting better again, don't like the cold.:(
Thanks, Steinunn, pencil was the old word for brush - brushwork,?
I like the expressive pencil work.
Nice painting Jon
It is lovely Jon! I like this foreground specifically!
Jessica - well, it really exists! (there are a lot of them, in fact) (Pyrenees in France - but it's true it's bound to make you think of Holland!) - but I did it from memory - I can't wait to get into our new house on the 7th and have a reference to paint from.
Ruby - thanks - well, it's an idea - maybe one day the right concept for it will come along - I see some excellent works of this sort of subject by artist I like (Fryer, Workman or this : http://ggeraldoarte.blogspot.fr/ )
I rather like it Jon :)
