Acrylic on 10x8" canvas board. My intention was to do this on canvas board and then again on an Ampersand panel so that I can compare the painting experience. Although it was never my intiention for this to be a 'painting', I would be grateful for any guidance as to what I could do on my next effort to move this up a level.

very nice and serene. i love the atmosphere and the forest floor! the only minor thing i can see is adding more branches to the trees to add more interest and maybe graduate the color of the trunk as it goes up and receives more light. very nice job though.
