It's a big one! My husband saved the canvas and frame from the curb. This is my kind of recycling. Repared bad dents in the canvas by spraying the back with water and heating it with a hairdryer. Smoothed some extreme texture from the previous painting and used a primer over it all before starting. Lots of detail and metalics in the fog.

I do love trees. Thanks. I tell folks that when I die they will look at my computer and wonder why there are more tree pics than Grandkids. BUT really have been adding to the grandkid pics! Working on grapes today and have another landscape I want to do; of course, with a large tree!

Wow - I'm in awe.   You were born to paint trees!  I did a search on tree paintings and 90% of the ones I thought were amazing were yours!

Thanks, Diane. I see what you are saying and this is not the best painting to photoograph because the lighting changes the effect and then the fog illumnates balancing out the gold. I will post another pic but the reflections still move with the changing light. See what you think???

Love the snow on your trees Deb and every thing else except the strength of the warm colour as my eye finds it hard to leave this part of the painting to explore the rest. Now that's just me and I am very timid tith colour:-) :-)
