Silvana, I think you did great. I like it! This is very hard one. We are learning.
I think this is better. I like what you did with the far building. Fantastic job!
Montalvo, I think it is exactly what I am going to do... stop and move away for a couple of days !!! Then I will try again...
Stu, I have deleted the Revised I painting hoping this one is better. I have copied and saved the picture and comments though...
Silvana hang in there, it's all your mind pushing you out of a comfort zone ( im assuming). As long as you understand how Atmospheric perspective works in your paintings then you have aquired knowledge. Are you focused on how it came out and how it looks? Versus i understand how to apply it and im getting it. The beauty about the whole thing is you want to continue and do another one. I usually do three, and yes...sometimes i stop and walk away from it for a couple of days. GRRR!
Thank You David! That background building has had so many changes... but I see what you mean. It looks slightly lighter in the original. I think the picture is not the best quality.
I think I will make a second version of this workshop paintings!!!!
Looks Good! I think the foreground looks great. You got the colors of the water with reflections painted very well.
The only thing I see is that for the building in the background may need to show some difference between the roof and walls. Maybe the roof should be lighter in value than the walls?
