Hi Richard, congratulations on your demonstration piece for the Australian Artist magazine. This is a lovely work.:)
Thank you Ningning for looking at my work and taking the time to like or comment on so many of them. Thank you for your kind words regarding this painting. It was a demonstration peice I did for an article in the Australian Artist magazine.
Such subtle and rich color combination.! Beautiful painting, It must involved a lot of thought when you doing it, Richard. Great!!
Thanks for your comment Silvana. Much appreciated.
Very dreamy and magical Richard!
Thanks Steinunn, Ann and Cristina for your feedback. Re the dark spot Ann. thanks for mentioning it. You are right. I hadn't noticed what an eye stopper it is. It is a silhouette of a small bush. You are right. It's too dark and does stand out too much. I will change the colour a little and lighten it and see what that looks like. Cheers.
Beautiful composition!!
Your background trees with soft filtered light are lovely with the darks in the foreground framing the lighter areas. I have question , the dark spot in the light water by the green bank bothers me. Is there a reason to have it there it is confusing and is an eye stopper. Over all very nice painting with varied cool greens.
Lovely color variation Richard.
