I have done some minor recommended changes.Darkened the trees on the right, brought out the bush in the center of focus. Happy for feedback.

Lovely work and composition!
I had not seen this beautiful painting....
I love your color combination, apart from other good elements.
beautiful and vibrant painting
Yes, art has been in and out of my life since birth. Dad was an artist, he interfered a lot, but tried hard to help. I really got into art in my forties and blended it all with work/kids. Once I retired more things came together. Now the content of life is the excitment of learning andf art is just one of my focii.
I really like your painting! The colors are vibrant against the bluish grey sky. Has good depth. Nice shaped trees. Wish I could tell how thick the paint is applied and whether it is thin or thick throughout or just some places but I know a photo never does it justice! Have you been painting long? I've only been painting less than 2 years and have much to learn.
Interesting. I could not tell. There was an appearence of the under painting in the sky.
Hi Deb,
No underpainting. I used to do that a lot but recently have turned to using a temporary white paper pallet to mix my paint on and find an under painted canvas distracting.
I really like this color pallet. Did you under paint the canvas?
