Thank you Jeri.. it was hard for me to get a skin tone from the black and white photo but fortunately according to the family this was her skin tone as she was half Cherokee..

Excellent work. I too enjoy painting people. It's just been too long since I've done one in oils.

Wow!  Nice work!  They even look like "Mother and Child."
