I very much like the warm glow and shine on their coats. The lines of sunshine on their backs that makes it feel physically warm and comfortable, together with the emotional endearment.  It's a very sweet painting, lovely :)

 

I like the pinkish specks on the foal, it gives it a bit of a dreamlike shimmer.  My only suggestion would be to maybe to make the green of the trees a bit more yellowish or  and a little more pushed to the background.
