ICEBERG.
I am from a small town in the northern coast of newfoundland Canada, a place that I hold very dear to my heart, the people that populate the area are the best and most welcoming people in the whole world, there is nothing that I miss more than being there at this time of year to see such wonderful sights as massive chunks of ice that have broken off from the polar cap and drifted pass our beautiful island, we are often referred to as (ICEBERG ALLEY ) . This is how I remember some of the ice burgs that I have seen in my life!!
This was done in mixed media (acrylics and oils ) it was done with a knife and finger painting on a 24x30 canvas.

Amazing what a direct connection does to one's work, it's like we put a bit of our soul into everyone....must have big souls!!  This is lovely, lovely reflections, treatment of the water, congratulations!

Great variety of blues and greens, Eugene. I think this is one of my favorite pieces of yours, because your heartfelt memories infuse the painting. Thanks for sharing that; I enjoyed reading it.
