Elena, thank you for your appreciation of my workshop2.  In fact, yesterday I wrote a comment about your job but did not send out. I remembered that I should not vote before 21.10.  Now I realize that I can make a commentory. The reason that I like your work is that: the whole painting show a clear mood , your brush strokes on the montains, trees, water flowings and wild grass at the foreground are so conviencing. Your observe the nature with your heard and express it with your fellings and care. And your skill  of painting provide you to be able to tell a story of a montain and river. Happy for you!

I am going to have a better comera at the end of Oct. I will learn how to edit my photo to make it more like the color of the real painting.  This workshop2 work is my study of a concept of our teach Richard: Do not hide your brush stroke as it is unique of your personal expression.  I bought Richard's MasterClass lessons and learned  a lot .Thank you again for your encouragement.

Thanks, Delores,

I left it like that, because I found that I am not able to improve the mountains.Sometimes "better"  is an enemy of "good" :). I wish you  to achieve what you want in your painting.

Hi Elena,

Do you hear my groan? This is the view I chose and your is soooo much better than mine. Note that I haven't uploaded mine! Your rock looks just like the real one. Your trees look like they are actually the same variety as the picture. Your creek runs down hill, not sideways. Your grass has individual blades. All of these things work in yours and don't work in mine. I'm still groaning.

It's got a wonderful textural variety and it's so believable. I really love it. Of course that kind of critique is not really helpful, so let me find something to knit-pick. Okay, just sat here staring for awhile and the only thing I can find to say is that the mountain tops look a bit...I'm not sure of the correct word...maybe cartoonish? They make me think of the classic Matterhorn images. Maybe it's that they have too much detail or at least not fuzzied enough. (Sorry, that's not really a word.)  I don't know, I'm really reaching to find anything to improve, it's so nice.
