Oil on board, plein air at Mountainside Lavender Farm in Scholls, Oregon near Portland during lavender festival. There was a vendor set up next to me with wine tasting, so I had a glass some Oregon pinot noir while I painted this...maybe it was 2 glasses.

I watched a documentary on 'how its made' on lavender oil to make perfume and man oh man it takes a bunch. These folks sure are dedicated to perfume.

Thanks Carol & Kim.  Plein air painting is so much fun.  Have you tried it yet?  My favorite.
