I finally found a subject for my odd-sized canvas.

That's great, Brit! Congratulations!
This painting was accepted into my first juried show! ; ).
Excellent work, beautiful colors!
Joy, you are correct! I thought I had completely covered the canvas with the underpainting! They are tiny little specks of white canvas. I think they showed up after the painting dried, and I took this photo while it was still fairly wet.
I am honored by these compliments about this painting and the fall painting! I'm a little worried about this painting as now that it's dry I see some little white spots that didn't get covered by paint. I'm afraid to do anything to ruin it. Any ideas on how to resolve that carefully? Manneherrin, I do like to have my underpainting show. I feel like this and the other land/farmscape I recently posted could be my identifying style (something that has eluded me so far). I have had a "professional" tell me that leaving bits of underpainting showing was one sign of an amateur painter. Any thoughts on that?
Breathtaking Britt.. I love how you let the under painting peak through in places. Brilliant work
Lovely scene!
