Thanks Dor for your kind comments, only second portrait I have done, but as I have 8 other grandchildren perhaps I will be getting more practice, Leo's the only baby though the others are slightly older. Smiles to you to ..

This is just your second portrait you have painted? WOW!! Then it is even something more to be proud of, you are a natural, very talented woman. I am sure your daughter will be thrilled when you give her this wonderful birthdaygift. I would, it looks so sweet and I think your grandson will be very proud too, when he is a little older, and realise that he is portraited by his granny in the most sweetest way, as an adorable little boy. I can see that it is done with lots of love, your grandson is reflecting it towards the viewer. Is'n it wonderful, how your beautiful and perfect little portait will make so many people very happy?

Thanks Rita, for your praise of my portrait of little Leo, it was done with lots of love. My daughter will be 40 in November and it is a surprise for her, hope she likes it.  It is great indeed when other members post comments of your painting endeavours and gives us all lots of incentive to soldier on with our attemps. thanks again.

Thanks Debbie for your comment on my portrait of Leo, I enjoyed doing this so much, it is only the second portrait I have done and I was really hoping I could get it to look like him. I did it for my daughter's 40th birthday as a surprise, so really hope she loves it.

This is very beautiful, Brenda, what a gorgeous portrait  and what a cute little boy. You can be very proud of yourself, You have made a awesome portrait of your grandson. Wished I was able to do so, but for that I really need to practise a lot.
