wow! What a creative technique. I saw a video with STephen Quiller wherein he used very textured rice paper to make an abstract work. I should have guessed. very nice job. I wish there were more hours in the day, so I could try all the interesting techniques I see on this board. UNfortunately, my job gets in the way of enjoying life. ;-)

Thanks, i glued some watercolor paper on canvas.. with gesso, (cutted paper in the shape of the walls..) and some textile (rice paper and similar) down on sea..then aplied watercolors...then acrilic medium (emulsion..) then acrillic colours... there is difference from picture and painting...

Karlo, I like the soft light in this picture. What is the texture? Is that in the paper or did you paint that in? What is the medium?
