From one of my visits to St Abbs Harbour in Scotland, the name of the fishing boat struck a chord with me, giving me the feeling that this little boat was small and alone...isolated even, compared to the larger fishing boats in the harbour. And the fact that it wasn't in the water made it look like it was looking in on the harbour from the outside

Thanks for the comments! :-D I did actually have the foreground water a bit darker but lightened it, prob too much now lol. Don't think I'll make the changes to this one but will keep them in mind for my next scene like that one. Goit my first studio easel for christmas so I'm really chuffed and already got my next landscape all lined up to do :-) Merry Christmas!
