I think the water would certainly be influenced by the mountain colour and also that lovely tree keeping some of the nice horizontal lines across the surface to further indicate it is water.I would make a line to indicate the bottom edge of the rock where it meets the water leaving some to be reflection maybe. It is a lovely light bright painting as it is so don't tweak too much:)

Thank you so much Diane for your feedback, I really do appreciate it.  I joined this workshop because I want to improve and every little tip helps so much.  I have never painted reflections before, and I kinda wondered about those lower reflections myself.  I wasn't sure how far to take them. I'm going to take your suggestion and  "tweek" it over the next few days. Do you think the reflections there should be of the rocky area or the trees and purple mountains?  Thanks again for your help - happy painting to you too! :)

Great use of your limited palette Jessica. I would cut off the lower third of the painting as I understand it your reflextions should only be the same size as the object reflected so it makes your shed reflexion way too long or alternativley paint out the lower shed reflextion. so hard to critque others work when you have so much to learn yourself but every little helps. Thats why I personally find this site so great. Happy painting:)
