Thank you Shelly! The painting does look better than the photo. It's remarkable that i didn't like it much when I finished it yesterday. Today it caught my eye... hey why don't you like me, you are no better than that ;-)

Thanks Manneherrin. I tried to compress the values and painted the sky darker, so the focal spots pop out more.

This is a beautiful painting. I wish I could pop these masterpieces out like you can. Was this on a rainy day? The horizon sky seems a bit dark.

This is a beautiful painting Thomas.  Lovely brushwork, colour harmony and the way you make use of suggestion brushwork to do the figures.
