350mmX250mm This was a demonstration work that I did for my local art group, it took just on a hour to dao with about another 30 mins back in the studio. Unfortunately the colours look a little washed out in the photo.

I wish I had been at the demo but there's that puddle of water between us, bugger!

I thought it was oils - fantastic what can be done with acrylics!

Keep up the good work, er painting.

Yes this was my first time doing an official demonstration which was at the clubs meeting place and yes I worked from a couple of photos and some sketchs that were done on site.  I have painted several unoffoical demos with a few standing around and found them way less intimitating, however I did enjoy the exercise and look forwad to doing some more.  you certainly learn a lot about your self and your work.  It is one thing doing a painting in your studio but explaining every little thing as you go is a whole new ball game and is lots of fun.

Hi Kim, no it is acrylic and I had thought about adding some chooks and did discuss it with the group I was demonstrating to but as I only had an hour and the time seemed to fly by they were left out, I may add some sheep or cattle later.  It is quite an interesting exercise to demonstrate in front of others.
