My dad loves his old Dutch buildings. And being a draughtsman loves his perspective. So he copied this painting off a calender and handed it to me to paint. I was horrified but gave it a go. There are things wrong but I don't want to wrestle with it anymore.

I wonder if anyone knows how difficult it is to get buildings right?  I've painted street scenes but I find them... difficult.  *smile*  The buildings and all look great.  Textures are a bit troubling for me but again you've done a fine job of those too.  Well done.

I think you did a great job!  The depth, shadowing/highlights are very convincing. Very nice figures also!
