On My Walk

12 x 9 Water Soluble Oils. This is the painting I did for our first challenge for a group show at The Essence Gallery in Albuquerque, NM in December. We will do twelve paintings, and then pick out our three best for the show. Twenty Eight artists from the group "Let's Paint New Mexico" are participating.

Michael, I was wrong, not Cerulean blue, but King's Blue. (came with my W.S. Oils set) I did mix in a bit of yellow/green with it. Coming back to this after painting it, I can definitely see where your suggestion of a warmer foreground would be so much nicer! Thanks again, so very much, for your wonderful, helpful input!
