This is the original photo I took while hiking in Yosemite last summer with my husband scouting out riding trails for our horses. The great thing is that I love riding and painting so it gives me many opportunities to take a lot of potential painting photos. This one I cropped down to make a wider look but ended up with a 16x12 study on paper. See the following upload for the painting I did from this one.
