Thank you all for your kind words about this painting.  It helps so much to know we are on track when our peers give such genuine feedback.  I think this one took around a week.  I paint mainly in acrylic on stretched canvas and  in many many layers. 

I wish you all the very best in health happiness and the greatest of friendships for 2011 and onwards.
