i agree with vida - i love the top half of this painting!!!! - maybe doing a bit more with the river would help...love those mountains!!!! susie

Hazel, this one is much looser and I really like the feel.  You captured the snow on the mountain nicely.  The cooler greys on the far right mountain top helps create a nice focal point on the warmer peak closer to the sun.  The sky colors are fabulous.  I know you were going for loose here but I think the foreground may be a bit too loose.  I feel that I get somewhat lost when my eye moves down from those beautiful peaks. Perhaps just a bit more definition? Somewhere for the eye to rest momentarily?
