Thanks you for your comments, very sweet of you :). I myself am not completely satisfied with the result. I painted this few years ago and when I look it now I notice there are many critical aspects that could lead to improvement. The perspective depth is only determined by the path while the atmospheric perspective is missing. The trees with foliage on the background are painted way too sharp.  I think I must resist the most interesting part on the birch tree where the light falls the most. Also the foreground can be painted with less detail. When I took the picture the path was swept just before, and I painted this also as it appear which is not good really. There should be a gradual transition between the path and grass and not abrupt as it shows now. I was thinking to paint this picture all over again with the critical edges I just mentioned before. Anyway, thanks guys for liking the results so far. A new version will follow after a few lessons from our maestro Richard Robinson, ... hehe: D

Beautiful painting, I love the strong contrast and your use of the opposite colours green and magenta. You're great at painting foliage, well done.
