Hi Marisa (and Ningning).   can understand what you are saying as it drives one crazy sometimes taking the photos, especially from original painting and onto web.   This may assist.  If your camera has a 'white balance' in the settings(?) most cameras have these (except lower end ones), you need to put settings onto that and take photo of a white sheet of paper next to your painting. Now photograph your picture. Colours will then be correct.. Hope of help to your and others. jen

I have the same  problem. In fact, all the cameras make grey photos in different degree. Your apply colour softer than me so it seems more obvious. Maybe, you try different condition to take photo. My experience is that take it outside can get better result. On the workshop page, Richard provide us a website about how to make a photo. You may like to try it.

you are right.     in reality the colours aremore pinkish, but by the time the photo reached the  web the only color left is the yellow.........I should perhaps take a darker version and compare it but it is a bit more then what a can do.   how are you doing?       keep well.

Marisa, I suspicious that the photo lost the color of your original painting as I see the reflections.
