I always limit my pallette in most cases. Less distractions. I was just rying very hard to meet Richard's challenge criteria.

Did you use the gamut mask whileout in the field, or decide on colors before you left?  I limited myself theother day by only taking a few tube colors, and it worked out pretty well.

I love the spontenaity of working in the field and I quickly see what needs further study/sorting out/ prioizing, etc

Me too. I can't even imagine trying it while in the field.
