Original Oil Painting by Jeri McDonald, 8x12 paper, study. Testing the color palettes again. This is where we ride our horses, my husband and I almost every weekend at the Pacheco State Park in Central Valley, CA off of 152. We really love the colors in spring when all the wildflowers are blooming. The California Poppies are my favorites. They really do look this brilliant. The color of the San Luis reservoir is not this blue but almost!
