Li - Thank you. Your comment is much appreciated. I had a lot of fun doing this. And it was quite quick to do. I was worried about the colours being too brash, but then in acrylics, I feel like I can get away with it.

Great color combination Michael. Each color distinguish from each other and yet with harmony together.  Great painting.

Laura - Lovely to hear from you. Thanks for the positive and encouraging comment.

Silvana - I was watching a painting demo by Joseph Zbukvic, really well worth watching, and he said 'you need to be confident in what you do, believe in it, because then the viewer will be confident. If you can't convince yourself, you will not be able to convince the viewer". Or something like that :-) It's so true. It's not necessarily what's right or wrong, but how you are able to sell it to the viewer. So... go for it. Be confident.

Thanks Michael! Yes, I do understand... but I think I have to learn how to paint first... Know how to deal with the complex as to be able to simplify it afterwards. Perhaps I am wrong, but I tend to think that if you know sth forwards and backwards and know all the tricks about it and everything you can, then you can make it extremely simple and do it well... !
